Auto-replying to comments increases engagement and response rates without manual effort.
Example use cases
- Reply "DM us for pricing!" to comments containing "how much" or "price"
- Reply "Link in bio!" to comments containing "where can I buy"
- Like and reply "Thank you! 🙏" to all 5-word or shorter positive comments
Set up comment auto-reply

Create a new automation
Choose "New Comment" as the trigger.

Add keyword condition
E.g. contains: "price" OR "cost" OR "how much".

Set action to Reply
Write the comment reply. Keep it short and natural — long auto-replies look spammy.

Enable
The automation runs on all future matching comments in real time.
Note: Avoid over-automating comment replies. Instagram may restrict accounts that send very high volumes of identical replies.
